Testing the model
We are learning a lot about how people want to use Press Army from the first version we have been testing with a limited number of users (thanks everyone!). We have confirmed some thoughts and changed some of our thinking based on the user feedback already and I think it is getting better ad better every day as a result. We hope to release some of the updates to the site soon.
A couple of trends we are seeing :
- People mostly want to monitor their own site and the sites of their competitors as opposed to the sites they are just fans of.
- People’s needs are more personal than the public wiki-like format of collecting press, and they want their own private lists as well as the more public side to aid promotion.
A couple of things we want to know :
- How much do people want to collect data themselves? (vs having someone/something else do it for them)
- What extra information do people want to know about the press that discusses them? (ie. it was positive/negative, it was a spam site, etc)
We will talk more about Press Army at the next Tokyo2point0 which is coming up next Tuesday evening at Fujimamas, Harajuku, Tokyo.

Hi - I am having difficulty getting into the site - I mailed mail@ultrasupernew.com with this message - no response yet.
Hi - I seem to be having trouble logging in to English version - getting this error;
“Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://pressarmy.com/account/login”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.”
following entry of username and password > submit - using safari on an Intel MacBook OSX
Are there server side issues or is it a user malfunction - ie. me being stoopid?
Hi Leo,
That shouldn’t be happening, so I will contact you directly about this and sort it out for you.
best,
mike
